TALLADEGA, Ala.??”Clint Bowyer surged past Richard Childress Racing teammate Jeff Burton through the tri-oval on the final lap at Talladega Superspeedway to win Sunday’s Good Sam Club 500. Dan Wheldon was killed in a 15-car pileup at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday in the Izod IndyCar Series season finale. Wheldon was 33. The crash started in front of Wheldon, and his car launched off of a car in front of him, flipped into the catchfence and erupted in flames on Lap 12. At one point during the crash, three cars were airborne and upside down. Wheldon was going for a $5-million bonus for he and a fan in Sunday’s race. For some reason people in this one league kept saying i was racing too aggressively and caused the 22 car to wreck. When i know for a fact that i knew how to run the track i was faster then the leader and i passed him and he wrecked himself. And yet some of the league members denied it and said that i was to agressive. i know i wasn’t i was just trying to pass the leader. If you guys can tell me anything i did wrong please tell. but im pretty sure i did nothing wrong, i was in the #30 car… |
