With 32 cars on track for the 2010 European Championship, white grader 51 Dylan Williams takes up the early running. 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr’s race was to end with barely a couple of laps complete. 391 Andy Smith charges through the field in pursuit of the leading cars of 51 Williams, 153 James Lund and 464 Luke Davidson. Skegness Final 10-7-10. Young Tom Harris is on form in this one, and cruises to the finish to take a comfortable Final win. The race is brought to a halt following a heavy shunt involving 197 Ryan Harrison, an unfortunate 212 Danny Wainman and 12 Michael Scriven. Final from Sunday’s event, with 259 Paul Hines taking the win comfortably from 60 Ian Venables, 464 Luke Davidson taking third, and 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr just holding onto 4th ahead of 84 Tom Harris. UK leg of the Golden Helmet. Young 84 Tom Harris keeps a cool head and takes a superb win in this event. With favoured runners 391 Andy Smith and 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr retiring with mechanical problems, the race turned into a three way battle between 84 Tom Harris, 21 Mark Gilbank and 4 Dan Johnson. Gilbank tails Harris for several laps and briefly takes the lead from Harris. In a determined mood, Harris snatches back the lead, and ultimately takes the win. Coventry Final 3-7-10. With barely 1 lap complete, the race is brought to a swift end following a big plie up in turns 3-4. 321 Ed Neachell and 197 Ryan Harrison amongst the casualties. White top 416 Dave Muckian breakls free and leads for pretty much all of the race, only being overhauled in the closing stages by 322 James Neachell and 4 Dan Johnson.
