Dan Wheldon was killed in a 15-car pileup at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday in the Izod IndyCar Series season finale. Wheldon was 33. The crash started in front of Wheldon, and his car launched off of a car in front of him, flipped into the catchfence and erupted in flames on Lap 12. Belle Vue Grand National. After winning the Semi Final, the coin toss for Pole Position come World Final and the meeting Final, it was 259 Paul Hines who leads the pack away.. There was some great racing action between 4 Dan Johnson and 16 Matt Newson, with Newson looking good to take a win, and possibly make up for his early exit of the Semi Final. The opening round of the Shoot Out series didn’t fail to deliver some superb Brisca Stock Car Racing action. 84 Tom Harris managed to break the lap record for Birmingham Wheels despite riding some big hits early on. 390 Stuart Smith Jnr, 55 craig Finnikin, 4 Daniel Johnson and 16 Matt Newson had a coming together on turn4, with 16 Matt Newson being the only one to survive. 1/391 Andt Smith was also in the thick of the action, being spun out of contentio… |

Koby Wilson (driver of the #8 IMCA Modified at Thunder Mountain Raceway) lost his life as a result of an automotive accident on July 25. Survivors include his wife Tina, daughter Alexsis, 7, and son Karter, 2. This is how the boys in Olathe pay tribute to losing one of our own. Kobys car is the lead car driven by his twin brother Kody. The best part of the night was watchin the fans come to there feet and cheer when Kody went on to win his heat race. Koby will be greatly missed by all!… |
