So, this is what I sold my ’95 Mitsubishi Eclipse for. A faster-than-hell (especially for a 15 year old) Z/28 with only a few problems, even then it’s minor. Windows are slower, the power lock on the passenger side doesn’t work, (lock it manually) there is no bolt holding the alternator up, but really, that’s it. This is the Hales Corners Speedway Pro Star Sporstmen feature event which was run on the evening of May 11,1985. The win went to John Johnson in his #8 1973 Chevelle which he campaigned for his long-time car owner Dave McHugh. In Johnson’s Sportsmen career at the speedway he compiled 13 feature wins and won the Pro Star Sportsmen track championship in 1986….
