I recently started the full restoration of this NHRA Super Stock racer originally from Cornhusker’s Raceway (home track) in Nebraska. This car was prepped, converted, and raced starting in 1969 and campaigned in the Super Stock class through 1974 in NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) Division 5, the “West Central Division”. This is a 10 lap Stock Car Heat that was raced during “The Futures” area invitational event on September 21, 2008 at the Slinger Super Speedway in Slinger, Wisconsin. This video was recorded from the infield area which allows a very different perspective of the action on the high banking of the track….

Made a couple of changes to the car, swapped the engine twice, raised the roof two inches, put a “stock” trunk lid on and removed the hood scoop (that being why the hood is un-painted in the ceneter) like coment favorite and subscribe…

So, this is what I sold my ’95 Mitsubishi Eclipse for. A faster-than-hell (especially for a 15 year old) Z/28 with only a few problems, even then it’s minor. Windows are slower, the power lock on the passenger side doesn’t work, (lock it manually) there is no bolt holding the alternator up, but really, that’s it. The guy who had it before me said that it’s been sitting for four months straight, so under it there isn’t that much rust. The only “mods” on the car is a cold air intake and Flowmaster…

Fast Mercedes W124 is racing and doing some drifts on Nürburgring at 08.04.2012. This was filmed with GoPro Hero HD 2. The car is absolutly stock. 220HP are enough for nearly 9 minutes from bridge to gate. This car is automatic with a 3.2 engine. The driver is over 40 years old and a old hand on this track. Dodge Charger and challenger – R/T – R/T Road and track, Daytona, Srt8, seem to come with a stock 2400 stall torque converter, In This test the car is at full throttle and the brakes are holding it back completely, I must say its a little tricky to determine the maximum foot brake stall speed, you must flash it up a bit in order to get a true result, or it will seems to lock up at a lower rpm, If you just do a flash stall test, “with no brakes”, it seems to lock up at 1800 rpms, its the systems…
